CoasterClash is a roller coaster comparison app. This policy explains, plainly, what the app does and doesn't do with your data.
CoasterClash does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. The app does not make network requests, does not include analytics or advertising SDKs, and does not use App Tracking Transparency because it doesn't track you across apps or websites.
The app saves a small amount of local preference data on your device only — your chosen unit system (imperial/metric) and which comparison categories you have enabled. This is stored using Apple's standard UserDefaults mechanism, never leaves your device, and is never shared with us or anyone else.
Roller coaster statistics shown in the app are bundled with the app itself, sourced from OpenCoasterData, an openly licensed (CC BY-SA 4.0) dataset. Loading this data does not involve any network request or data transmission — it ships inside the app.
If you purchase CoasterClash from the App Store, that transaction is handled entirely by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy — we never see your payment details. An optional "Buy me a coffee" link in the app's About screen goes to Ko-fi, a third-party site with its own privacy policy; visiting it is entirely your choice and isn't required to use any feature of the app.
CoasterClash does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children, because it does not collect data from anyone at all.
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds a feature that involves data collection — this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will change accordingly.
